Nahid Hasan is a documentary photographer, visual journalist, and filmmaker based in Dhaka, Bangladesh whose vital interest in human rights, gender equality, marginalized communities, social, cultural, and environmental issues mainly. Nahid holds a master’s degree in Marketing but his passion for visual arts has led to photography and filmmaking. Later He pursued a postgraduate diploma in visual journalism at Ateneo de Manila University through a full scholarship from Konrad Adenauer Stiftung. He wants to use his camera as a pen to write the visual history. His work has been exhibited and published in several national and international festivals, media outlets, and galleries such as Drik Gallery, National Museum, Shilpakala Academy, Nandan, The Telegraph, SBS Bangla, Social Documentary Network, Private Magazine, Artdoc Magazine, Edge of Humanity Magazine, Human Rights Short Film Festival, Twelve Months Film Festival, International Children’s Film Festival Bangladesh, South Asian Short Film Festival. He is a contributor Photojournalist and Video- Journalist at Pacific Press Agency(Philippines), Newsnext Bangladesh, and NurPhoto Agency(Italy)  .
