Water without Water

 

Bangladesh is vulnerable to environmental disasters due to combined effects of climate change; population growth and urban migration as rising sea levels are a problem around the world.

Water is everywhere due to the intrusion of contaminate water from the sea not any drop to drink as finding a supply of pure water is an everyday problem for urban slum dweller in Palashpur,Barishal. To get drinkable water they need to queue for hours as they collect water two times a day from Charity organizations water delivery system. Sometimes people drink unfiltered and arsenic water as they suffer from diseases and die from waterborne diseases. They have had to adapt and adjust to the enormous hardships of a life too often lived in underwater and trying to find ways to cope as they conduct their daily routine by passing water.
